After 24 years of racing, Glen Helen Raceway will take over one of the most prolific racing organizations in Southern California, REM Saturday Motocross. The staff at Glen Helen are sad to see the initial owners, Frank and Myra Thomason, move on to their next chapter but we are excited to see what the future holds.
Bud Feldkamp, the owner of Glen Helen Raceway, purchased this iconic organization from Frank and Myra and will continue hosting Saturday races on the vet track.
The program will remain the same but will have a few updates. Online registration and sign-ups at the track will still be available. However, we are adding more classes for youth racers, a few races on the main track, and we will hold four races throughout the new REM MX Spring Series. Each series will consist of four to five rounds of safe and competitive races. There will be a sequence of champions for each round and a year-end, overall winner.
The race schedule for each Saturday race will be announced the week prior, a short practice will be held in the morning, and there will be a parade lap before each race during the first round of motos.
We want to thank Frank and Myra for their hard work and dedication to REM MX and the motocross industry.
