6 Hour Rules
Pits are Located down the main road behind billboard and Pro Pit area pits are marked with a orange number please have that number with you when you come to sign-up.
*Impound is located Behind the Main Starting Line on National Track
*Allowed what will fit in your assigned pit location –
*YOU MUST ONLY USE THE ALLOWED AREA. You may camp you’re the pit area.
*Riders may pit or change riders at any time.
* You must work on bikes at your pit location
* SPEED LIMIT MANDATORY at 10 MPH IN PITS. If you exceed the speed limit you may be penalized
IMPOUND:
*All Teams may use 2 bikes 3 Riders– one bike remains in the impound at all times
*ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE SAME TEAM NUMBER ON BOTH BIKES, FRONT & LEFT AT THE VERY LEAST!
* One bike must be in impound at all times (If two bikes are being used)
*Transponders on the bike- each time you switch bikes move the transponder to the new bike
* You and your team may not work on the bike in the impound area.
WATER AND TRACK
*We will have water trucks throughout the race track watering if needed and staff watering hills and flat areas
*The course consists of several different terrains etc. Please be careful the first lap to learn the track *DO NOT CUT THE COURSE!! WE HAVE A TRANSPONDER SYSTEM THAT WILL CATCH COURSE CUTTING. STAY ON THE COURSE!!!!!! We will be penalized if you cut the course. If your team is penalized – we will stop teams at the Scoring – Hold them there for amount time the penalty infraction.
SCORING AND REGISTRATION:
*All Riders must register at the Sign-Up Tower at the GHR Museum
*Transponders will be also used – You MUST leave a or DL for deposit-$20 CHARGE FOR THE TRANSPONDER
RECOMMENED YOU PURCHASE YOUR TRANSPONDERS
*Live scoring will be www.glenhelen.com/results or at the museum
*Scoring screen will be at the museum for teams to check scoring
*Results will be posted approx 30 minutes after he last riders crosses the finish line
*Trophy Presentation will be at the museum Approx 45 minutes after the race.
