What a great weekend at the track! Glen Helen Raceway took a break from our “Sat MX @ The Glen” Series to allow MX enthusiasts to get in some summertime practice. We had a really solid turnout, pretty good weather (80s/90s), and a nice surprise of pro riders ripping through the track. Justin Barcia from Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GasGas Factory Racing came by to get some laps in. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing teammate Talon Hawkins stopped by on his 250. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Race Team was in the house including teammates Jo Shimodo, Jason Anderson, Ryder DiFrancesco, Adam Cianciarulo, Carson Mumford, Seth Hammaker, plus others all came by for a team practice. Former Wiseco 2-Stoke MX Champ, and a track favorite, Trevor Steward got some laps in on his Yamaha. And if that wasn’t all enough motocross for you, we also had MXA reps Josh Mosiman & Ezra Lewis testing out the new 2024 Kawasaki KX250 here at the track for a new video they just dropped.
We strive to provide a great motocross culture here at Glen Helen, and this weekends mix of great teams, brands, and riders really showcased our love for the sport, as well as the community’s support back to Glen Helen. Thanks to everyone who came out, we appreciate you all and we’ll see you all again next weekend here at Glen Helen Raceway!
