What an incredible weekend at Glen Helen Raceway! A big thanks to everyone who joined us at the track. The weekend was a massive success, with MX practice on Saturday and the Swap Moto Triple Crown Round #2 event on Sunday. The turnout was fantastic, and we were amazed to see so many racers from all age groups in attendance. The event was an absolute hit, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your support. Thanks to all the MX racers, everyone at Swap Moto, the track staff, friends & family, etc.. for making it all happen! We’re looking forward to more exciting events in the future. We’ll see you all again next weekend!
The Wampler Warrior Race Against Cancer kicked off this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway and it did not disappoint! Our fellow MX family member, Austin Wampler has been on a journey battling cancer since 2021. Despite the setback, Austin has remained strong and positive showing the world you can push through and overcome the impossible! We’re lucky to witness this endurance firsthand recently at the track, as we all witnessed Austin at his event popin’ wheelies, cruising in fancy helicopters, taking pic’s with supporters, and all this being done with a big big smile on his face. On behalf of the motocross community and everyone here at Glen Helen Raceway, we’d like to extend our support for Austin (& the Wampler Family). It’s the start of an exciting new series, and we can’t wait to see all the talented MX racers out on the track competing for the top spot. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 19th, as we kick off this exciting event on our National Track. Whether you’re a seasoned racer, or an MX fan, come on out to the track and enjoy some of the best motocross around.
Join us for the ultimate Vet MX experience at the So Cal Old Timers Vet MX event! On Sunday, August 20th, from 6 am to 2 pm, we’re hitting the Vet Track at Glen Helen for a day of thrilling racing and camaraderie. This event is all about supporting our Vet riders, and we welcome racers of all skill levels to come and be a part of the excitement. Get ready for an action-packed day: gates open at 6 am, followed by coffee, donuts, and sign-ups at 7:30 am. The first practice kicks off at 8:30 am, leading the way for an fun day of racing. Don’t miss out—camping options are available on Friday night for $20 per rig, with a $10 entry fee per person for Sunday’s event. The excitement kicks off with gates opening at 4pm, practice starting at 6pm, followed by racing under the stadium night lights directly after. Congrats to the Lawrence brothers on their top finishes at the 2023 Honda Unadilla National this past weekend! Jett remained undefeated in the 450 class with his 18th straight win claiming the 2023 450 class championship early. What a season for Jett, congrats! Big bro Hunter also came up on a big win after loosing his last race to rookie Haiden Deegan. Hunter came back swinging this week to claim the #1 spot with a 2-2 moto victory at Unadilla, putting him 22 points ahead of Yamaha’s Justin Cooper. Great job guys and congrats on the big win’s for the Lawrence brothers and Team Honda HRC. See you next week at Budds Creek!
