Bryant For Immediate Release EVOC IS INCLUDED IN 11th ANNUAL HYR 24 HOUR The Sheriff Emergency Training facility is part of the 10 mile + course at this year’s 11th annual HYR 24 hours of Glen Helen. The Training facility is located on Verdemont and Institution Road. This is a ½ mile road course that will add more excitement with the asphalt and water section. Glen Helen Raceway has not ran this section in a few year’s, but once again was able to incorporate this part into the already Baja style race track, which includes hills, sand washes and much more. This year’s event has over 50 teams of amateur and pro teams. Each amateur team will have 2 bikes and up to 6 six riders on a team. The Pro teams which are racing for a $5000 purse plus the ever prestigious HYR 24 Hour trophy located in the middle of national track will have only one bike and 4 riders on a team. Racing starts on Saturday Oct. 17th at 10am and runs non stop until Sunday Oct. 18th at 10am. Make sure to come out and enjoy the event. Gate fees are $20 adults and children 6-12 yrs $10.
